4. Description Abstract This essay analyzes the Ayotzinapa case int he light of the contributions of psychoanalysis and the critical theory. Regardin the first field, interested return the articulation of sovereignty, power and cruelty, developed in the conversation between Freud and Einstein, in 1932. In regard to critical theory field, we will appeal to Derrida’s deconstructive works about Freud’s approaches, and his proposal on the event. Also, we will resume the Foucault’s works about the “biopolitical”, “State racism”, and “disciplinary power” concepts, and the Achiller Mbembe’s contributions about the “necropolitics”. We present the current thesis that the coexistence between logics of power that would seem to be contradictories –as sovereignty and cruelty, biopower and necropolitics- is able in the current situation of mexican state.
