Discords of the common. On the places of conflict

Anders Fjeld, Diego Paredes Goicochea

Abstract

In this introduction, we define central questions arising from the reflexions in political philosophy on the places of conflict. In reference to the articles in this issue, we propose two entries aims: On the one hand, to study the topos of politics, and in particular, the defining features of the spaces of conflict with their conditions, configurations and risks. On the other hand, to define the challenges that confront philosophical thought when it inevitably selects certain concrete places of conflict or antagonistic scenes.
